Witches

Exhibitions

Witches is an exhibition about intuition, premonitions, energies, personal searches, and experiences, about freedom and independence. It’s an exhibition about many things that nevertheless connect into an expanded collective consciousness. We are increasingly interested in intuition. We are fascinated by the fact that someone sensed something, someone predicted the future, someone had a dream about their grandmother the night before she died. Articles and books are written about intuition, and it’s discussed at social gatherings. This exhibition is essentially about it and about knowledge from an unknown source that we simply feel. Witches and wizards are those who know. Suddenly, something is obvious to us. We then say: ‘I just feel it’ or ‘I just know it.’ Our senses perceive much more than consciousness registers. We sense that our minds process and have information that we are not aware of. We can only describe a part of the human brain’s activity, yet we assume that much more is happening there.

At the exhibition, a painting titled Black Panther in Water was presented. The black panther is an archetype of feminine energy embodied in wilderness, stillness, and repose. The panther comes from the extrasensory realm. She reminds us of the need for transformation, bringing with her the words ‘Go where you are afraid.’ She is painted among orbs—luminous beings. The black panther’s paws are submerged in water, which symbolically indicates a connection with emotions and inner intuition.

The black panther is accompanied by lush vegetation, which is a symbol of nature’s regenerative power. It was painted during the solar eclipse on October 14, 2023. This particular moment, when the moon completely covers the sun’s disc, is recognized by me as a moment of transition. The obscured sun creates a portal through which an archetype of feminine energy, envisioned as          a black panther, permeates from the extrasensory realm.

A 5D mural titled This is the Place for Purifying Your Water accompanied the painting. The mural was painted with the intention that visitors to the exhibition, by placing their hands on it, could experience regeneration and renewal of bodily fluids, inspired by the healing practice of St. Hildegard of Bingen, and also serving as a spot for energy work.
