Title: Master of Manifestation

Description: This is a portrait of Łukasz Dziedzic, my dear friend and painter. The painting was created for the group exhibition Rhizome, presenting the works of the Kłącze collective, a group of artists who share their studios at the Institute of Industrial Chemistry in Warsaw. Our exhibition was part of the Fringe Warsaw 2024. Our project for this show was to portray one another together with Łukasz and Marta Szulc. It was a wonderful experience of flow and reciprocity. I depicted Łukasz as a starseed – a child of the stars. I imagine that he comes from the Andromeda galaxy. In the right part of the painting, I showed a star that may be a sun in a part of this distant galaxy. In the background, on the left side, I painted a blue heart, which is a symbol of his empathy and the profound relationships he forms with people. On his raised right arm, I showed two of his tattoos: a lily and a star, which represent his daughter and partner. And for me, the tattoo star is proof that Łukasz is a child of the stars.
