Title: Kasia

Description: It depicts my friend, an architect who works with crystals. I call her “crystal Kasia.” She has a strong connection with nature, and in particular with minerals in the extrasensory dimension. Kasia describes minerals as “perfect beings.” She is delicate and subtle. The feminine aspect manifests in her attentiveness and humility towards nature and her love for animals, plants, and minerals. I painted her in a blue dress. At the level of her heart is a fluorite tetragon. It is one of her favourite stones. I imagine it to be a cosmic vehicle that allows her to take interdimensional journeys. Her black hair resembles the wings of a raven. It waves upwards as if defying gravity. According to my recognition, Kasia’s hair is antennae creating connections to the extrasensory realm. On the right side, in the hollow of her hair, there is a vortex generating a fountain of turquoise-blue water. This is a symbol of a creative life force. Kasia is one of the heroines of my doctoral thesis dedicated to the reconstruction of my female lineage.
